Latest News on TVA
Recent decisions by the French tax authorities have tightened the rules for the reduced rate of Tva applied to construction projects. Don't get caught out! The higher rate of 19.6% will apply to all but the smallest projects.

Recent News
On Wednesday 1st February 2006, France agreed, with other European member states, to prolong the dual rates of tva (vat) which have been effective there for a number of years. The reduced rate of 5,5%tva on construction work to existing dwellings will be retained until 2007, to be reviewed and possibly extended to 2010. Read the article in french from Le Monde.
