Forest Ridge A property which had been built on the
site of a large country house destroyed by fire in the 1940's, and
therefore benefitted from magnificent landscaping. The brief was to turn a
rather ordinary house into a spacious family home whilst taking full
advantage of the wonderful views from almost every side of the
building.

Rumbolds Farm Barn conversion The owners of one of
the oldest working farms in West Sussex wished to make use of derelict
barns on the site to accommodate their growing family. Whilst the design
had to make use of a Listed timber frame that was kept largely untouched,
the resulting quirky interior design features have given the building a
character all of its own.

Clayton House, Cuckfield This beautifully built property had a range of outbuildings that were awkward to use, and the owners wanted to enlarge the kitchen to become a kitchen with dining area. The property is in a Conservation Area, and a planning requirement was to retain an existing wall between the house and garage. Although the wall had two doors, this constraint required the introduction of a lantern rooflight to bring daylight to the north side of the space. Detail designs were prepared using 3D computer models to ensure that the Clients fully understood the final appearance.

Damson Cottage Farm, Grayswood |

|
|
Damson Cottage Farm, Grayswood This much altered property, originally two dwellings, suffered from poor connections between rooms. The dining room was distant from the kitchen, and the bedroom with the best views was only accessible from an outside stair. Proposed extensions and alterations to this Listed Grade II farmhouse gained Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent recently, and work is intended to start later this year.
